I was trying to slot sunbeam in my spellbook and whenever I rested it didn't actually get learned for the day. I have replicated this and recorded it to help describe what's happening.

I just leveled and got access to 8th level spells. Sunburst, Bombardment and Premonition are also not slotting while other 8th level spells are.

I unequipped my ring that gave me more wisdom and now I was able to slot sunburst but not the others

I was thinking it had to do with a buff because its not something we script. At all!. If you have temp increases, you might be able to cast things and learn things but you might not be able to slot things. Happens the same way with shifter changes. Thanks for doing your own testing. Was thinking I would have had to grab a toon and build a Cleric just to be sure!
